Good day,

My application as a sponsor of my wife and her 3 dependent children aged 18 above, Our application is already 1 year and a half the IRCC called us (me and my wife) for an over the phone interview and few days after they for requested a new medical exam since the first we submitted was already expired and we’ve already complied it. Now, they are requesting for CENOMAR or Cerficate of No marriage for 3 dependent children.

Is this gonna be the last document they requesting then after this the passport?

I would like to ask what are the possibilities so we can prepare ahead of time.

This really makes me angry.... All your family already did medical and now they want your family to redo them... WOW, it will cost you a lot of money again to redo this... I said it before and I will say it again, medicals should be the last step in an application and after that PPR that's if you pass it...

I certainly hope it is the last they need and want but unfortunately there is no way for any of us to say or guess whether it will be the last that they ask for. Since they are asking for CENOMAR's for the 3 dependents it sounds like they are questioning whether they are all single with no dependents. If they have dependents of their own they also have to be declared.

I agree. I can see why they put it at the front though, because if you are not medically cleared to come to Canada, why waste those resources checking other things. BUT, I think if you pass your medical exam, than that exam should NOT expire of the life of the application processing. Its not the PA's fault that the process takes FOREVER in some cases. I paid for my PA's and dependents medical examples in March. Then the application sat there collecting dust until now. We did finally get our pre arrival, but who knows... it its nearing next feb/march with no results and they start asking for more medical exams I am going to lose my sh*t ….
