Hello everyone. Happy Independence Day. My IELTS would be expiring December. I got my letter to apply 15th of February. I submitted 12th April. My status changed from received to AIP early September. Should I be worried about writing another IELTS. Since it’s expires December. Kindly advice. Has anyone been in this situation????? Your inputs would be highly appreciated.

Hopefully you should get nomination from MPNP and secure federal ITA before it expires in December with your present timeline. And if it goes that way, then your IELTS will be locked and no need to write another one. It will end in praise.

I agree with Omey. However, to be on the safer side, start making plans and preparation for another IELTS

Sometimes they do ask for updated English test result during IRCC process, sometimes they don’t. Just focuse on your nominations and then receive your ITA from IRCC and then you can look into that. From your timeline, you will your nominations towards this months end.

You should be ready for Ielts again.. Hope you will get nomination in this month but still for further process you need valid Ielts.. In my case 5 years back during process while my case was in London Visa office and my Ielts expired so they request to refresh it ..so as per my experience , please be prepare in advance and try to get date for exam as well

@Bicap and others what if the point s after the deduction is still more than the least drawn points. will that still pose a threat. So your supporter is in Winnipeg and u picked a rural area anf got the extra 50point (600) but the draw cutoff was 549, even after removing the 50 points this applicant is still eligible.
what do you think MPNP will do? lets discuss!

Once your score is still within the cut off mark, you are good. If you noticed they always quote after the removal of 50 your mark is no more up to the cut off mark. So if the score is still within the cutoff after removal of the 50 points, you are still good to go.

Spot on. My instinct also tells me that the applicant's supporter might be advised by mpnp to resubmit a revised SP2. Don't forget the the purpose of that is to ensure you land in a place where your supporter can truly help you settle down effortlessly. What do you think? and another question for those that got Nomination is that do they specify the city in the LOA?
