Received a phone call from CIC this morning, agent asked for DOB and details about my relationship with my spouse, call lasted for 3 mins. Agent thanked me for the info and stated that decision will be made shortly. 10 mins later I received a letter for Sponsor Eligibility Approval!!

Medical Request: July 13
Medical Results Received: July 30 (does not state Medical Passed instead says received)
Open Work Permit Approval: June 11, 2019
Sponsor Eligibility Approval: September 27, 2019 (not updated in ECAS yet)
PR Approval: Waiting....

so we have AIP and a landing interview but no SA letter, is this normal ? or could there be an issue ?

Hi everyone,
I called CIC 2 weeks ago. The agent told me they have started checking criminal record. However, I did not see any update on eCAS. I reported this issue on webform, but they only gave me a general response. The problem is still not fixed. Can someone tell me what to do? I want to keep tracking the progress of my application process.

Ours is the opposite we have AIP and SA but no landing interview. But we saw “Decision made on my Sponsor’s end. Do we have to wait for another email for landing interview? Or should we call?

Nope...it went from Medical Results Received to Decision Made. Received a letter yesterday stating that application has been completed and my spouse will be contacted by local visa office for an Interview.

I think what they meant is if you guys did some traveling together. If you did send them any airline tickets, boarding passes, hotel bookings, passport pages with stamps etc. Photos of your travels together and put some explanation. This is just my understanding.

We sent visas , stamps on our passport regarding that, but this request was specially for canada entries, when we entered and exit,, I don’t know and how long will take !!!

I have a message for SA but not AIP. I guess they just forgot to send it or forgot to update.
You already have an appointed interview. I think you should be alright.

Yesterday we received a message that our application has been completed. And wait for the appointment schedule. Are they supposed to contact us by phone or email? Just curios. When should we expect it? Thanks.
