Hi,
I have applied for restoration and its been 3 months and i haven't got any updates from cic. So i have lmia ready can i go to border to get my work permit.

Please advise.

4 months for the response. And i got approved for 6 month stay..
6 month stay - 4 month response time = 2 month stay. And - 1 month again for the change of status if your planning to stay or change status. So basically just 1 months stay.

Too much wait I have applied for work permit with restoration in Aug 2019 and getting frustrated as 7 weeks passed. Someone told that it picks work permit extension timeline not sure what to do.

Are you sure you have an LMIA exempt job? What kind of work do you do?

Yes I have lmia exempt job I did blunder in my extension application to miss out lmia details that’s why it got refused. I work as it project manager

wish you good luck as it’s most terrifying time but be positive.

hope you have already applied for review with all required documents , mine was $100 fee receipt.

I did applied for restoration as my review was also refused even I had paid the fee on time.
My status was restored in 60 days as my application also had study permit restoration for my kid.
Well they had cancelled my restoration application and had approved my earlier refused application. My refund was $250 short but it doesn’t matter as restoration tag was removed.
Well I prayed a lot and cut down all my expenses. So that I should not run out of money or have bad credit rating.
