Hey there, I am busy trying to figure out how to apply for the working holiday visa.
I do have sine question, maybe someone can help me with it.

- I only have time from next year April on. If I get the Invitation already ealier, should i apply ímmediatly? what if i would get the visa from january on already, does it count from then, or only when i enter the country? Does the visa expire? I am worried that I'll have to work longer than expected in my home country

- If I get the visa for 2 years, can Í leave the country for a few months and come back again?

I would be happy if some one could give me information =)

thank you
Sonja

It starts when you enter Canada.

Just to add that generally if approved for an IEC you will receive a POE letter which usually will have a validity up to 12 months by which date you must enter Canada. If you do not at least enter Canada whilst the POE letter is valid , even for a few days, then that still counts as your participation,

There is nothing to stop you going home for any periods of time during your stay although keep in mind that a condition of the IEC permit is that you have valid travel insurance for the full term. Some insurance policies do not allow home visits and will void the policy so you need to do some research there.
