Guys,
Can i ask about the biometrics?
I got the letters for my parents to collect their biometrics on Sep 18th.
They traveled to another city to get the biometrics collected on Sep 23rd.
Now they are back to my hometown. Today my mom told me that when they were at canada visa center, they were given a paper slip. On the paper slip, it's written that after they go home, they need to mail their (1) passport , (2)online application approval letter, (3) biometrics instruction letter back to the canada visa center, also with some processing fees.
My parents said the workers at the canada visa center told them to do that when they get home.
I'm very confused, when my parents went to the canada visa center, they already brought their biometrics instruction letter, passport, and everything required. I read on the paper slip it says "visa application material"
my understanding is that maybe the worker give the same paper slip to everyone regardless of why they were there. Those materials that on the paper slip were only required for other applicants who were there to apply for visa??
My parents only told me about this today, and I don't know who to ask. I tried to call the visa center but they never pick up the phone.
Were your parents told to mail their passport back when they got the biometrics collected?
