hey guys!
I have question regarding passports. How long it takes if we apply through canada service not with passport office. As service canada is just walking distance from my house.

Probably longer then if you apply at passport office. I applied at passport office and got my passport in mail a week later.

If you are in no rush, you can apply at service canada, however passport office is better as they will check the form for any mistake and faster service. I have seen few people receiving in a week.

It seems they have put on hold sending test invites and are now focusing on oath ceremonies.

I’m from January and still waiting.

One forum user from December got the invite and took the test already, but because there are so few November/December applicants from Surrey on this forum, it’s really difficult to tell.

I agree, I am from Chilliwack BC, and most probably my office is Surrey too. my family applied in February 2019, and I applied in May 2019. so lets keep an eye.. I think by end of year my wife should get test invite.
