Travelling to Montreal from Delhi

Hi,
I am an international student who will be traveling from Delhi to montreal Canada in Dec2019, I am planning to take British airways flight which has a halt in London for 1.2hrs. My questions are:

1. Is 1.2hrs halt enough to switch flights ( both flights are of BA)?
2. Do I need transit visa?

1. 1 hour 20 minutes is very tight. It would be a big risk.
2. No transit visa needed.

I have selected Lufthansa airline which will have a 2 hrs layover at Frankfurt. I hope it also doesn’t require transit visa .
