Dumb question, but in the tracker, are we putting the PA's country of nationality or the country we are residing/applied from?

You will receive it very soon. It usually takes 40-90 days to receive AOR. Its on your way.
I did receive AOR1 on 19/09 but then nothing else. Also I have not been able to link the application to GC account. I followed all the steps but no luck.

Biometric request will be sent to PA'S email. Try linking with different combination in CIC

Hi! Are there any July last week-august 1st week applicants here who reached cic to asked regarding the updates of AOR? It seems like 2weeks have been skipped. Thank you..
I just called CIC to get updates... they just told me that they have opened the document I sent to them... and a temporary file has been created... but they haven't actually started inputting it into the system for processing.. I guess we still have to wait for a while

Thank you for your comment! We also wanted to call CIC next Monday to check what's going on with our app...I am really losing patience because this time it's taking longer than ever..

I guess we still have to keep waiting....

Thank you for your response. Did you ask or did they inform you when was the application initially opened for reviewing? Thank you!

At first they told me that the application could still be sitting in the mail room waiting to be opened. Then I told her that my friend got an email response within 30 days! So she went and looked to see if she can give me any updates... and the only file created was when they opened my file on Aug 1...cause that's when it arrive in Sydney.

The customer support will not have any other information to give until they have actually started inputting the information into the system.

I called the client support... I don't know the number for the Sydney Office... I called this number: 1-888-242-2100

  • Telephone: 1-888-242-2100 (in Canada only)
    • Automated telephone service (available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
If you have a touch-tone telephone, you can listen to pre-recorded information about our programs, and check the status of your application.
    • Client Support Centre agents - Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays. Services are available in French and English.

Agents can help you with general and case specific enquiries. They cannot:
      • make decisions on applications
      • help process applications faster, unless you meet the criteria for urgent processing
  • TTY: 1-888-576-8502 (8 am to 4 pm your local time)
Call the TTY service if you:
    • are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech impairment
    • use a text telephone
