mep passed 4 th july
rprf fees requested on 24th june 2019

waiting for PPR....
any suggestions because i thought asking for RPRF fees was a good sign.

you are still under 6 months timeline.. if you exceed 6 months then request GCMS notes.. else you will eventually get your PPR soon

Hello,

We just received an email from the CIC and they are requesting for my spouse (my dependent) to fill out these Background Declaration form (IMM5669) and Additional Family info form (IMM5406). What does this mean? Why do they have to ask for more information re spouse.

Short background: Spouse worked in Canada way back 2007-2009. But was advised to go back in her home country before her contract ends as the company she has worked for has been affected by "recession" and she was eventually got laid off from work and which she obliged came home without questions.

We are just curious to find out why this has been requested. Has anyone here encountered the same scenario?
