I went through the checklist and it says:
"If you are working in Canada, provide an original letter from your current employer stating your period of employment, salary, and regular hours per week or supporting financial documents if you are self-employed AND one of these documents issued by the CRA:
- Your most recent Notice of Assessment. This must include line 150 (total income), or,
- Proof of income statement (option C)."

The AND is in bold caps. I'm not so sure it's optional. My worry now is that since I never filed with CRA so far, as far as they are concerned, I don't exist.

Their online login does not work for me, and their automated system also fails. What must I do to get the proof of income?

I was in the same situation when i applied for the Spouse PR in Feb 2019. You can provide the employment letter, pay stubs, bank statement where your payroll is coming in and a letter explaining why you cant provide the option C now and that you will do it as soon as you file it early next year.
I then sent them a webform once my option C was available in April this year. All the best.

Hi, thanks for your response. I am planning to send my application this month, but I cannot get the T4/Option C till next year. Will an explanation about why I wasn't able to provide CRA documents suffice? Do they usually reject the application or simply keep it on hold till it is supplied?

Thanks in advance.

If you provide the other documents as in Pay Stubs, Bank Statements, Employment letter and a letter of explanation for the option C, they should be ok with it. At least that is what happened for me. I got an AOR1 without it. I then submitted the option C later through the webform.

Not really... Still waiting.. I see this year applications are already getting PPR.. even slow visa offices like New Delhi and London visa office processing 2019 applications first... All we can do is wait. It will touch one year threshold on 36 days for my application. How about you when was your application received?

Ugh... I didn’t else London moving at all... New Delhi, if to look only at this forum, doesn’t seem to be so slow anymore.... I am November 7, pre arrival given in August and silence now. :(
