Study permit extension has taken too long

Hi All,

My representative helped me apply for SP extension on early July, and I got the confirmation letter.

it’s been more than 2 months, and the estimated processing time showed on CIC website is 39 days, but I haven’t heard anything back. It also says they are working on application received on July 30.

I am so worried as my current study permit has already expired and I am taking classes now. If I got rejected, I would have to stop all courses and I am not sure if I can get my tuition back.

I asked my representative, and they said they have sent a webform to follow on Aug 27. However, they haven’t gotten any response.

So, what is likely the cause of the delay? Am I more likely to get rejected? If I got rejected, can I apply again? This is my last term.

About me: I am a international student. I take every class and my GPA is more than 90%.

If passed means you’ll get it approved soon.

I applied alone, and I need another half a year to complete my program. why would IRCC delay my case? I went to every class. My 90% GPA can prove that. I provided my transcript with my application just in case they need it, and I can save us some time.

This is the second time I extend my study permit. Last time, I didn't have any issue with it. I provided similar document with updated information this time.

By the way, I only have the application number. Is there any way I can check my application status by myself? I asked a representative to help with my application. I think they submit my application with their account, which I don't have access to.
