Hi Everyone,

I am a Permanent Resident of Canada and wish to apply for visitor visa for my parents who are in India.
It would be a great help if you could answer my query related to 2 cases stated below related to vistor visa application for parents:
Case-1: My mother has her full name in passport which includes her middle name. On my passport her name is mentioned without the middle name. I always used just her first name and surname in all my documents.
Now, I am applying for her visitor visa to Canada and I am not sure if this would be an issue. If not, can I still use my passport's copy to prove our relationship? Also, do I need to submit any accompanying document?

Case-2: My parents-in-law have just their given (first) names mentioned in their passports and no family names (surnames). However, my wife has their complete names mentioned in her passport. What care should be taken to apply for a Canadian visitor visa for them.
Thanks

The lack of the middle name isn't usually an issue. I have personally been able to get a visa for my mom with the exact same issue.

Not sure about the second case. Does your wife's passport have the same home address as her parents, by any chance?

Hi,
Thanks for your response.
No, my wife's passport has my address not her parents'. I am trying to figure out if her education documents have the parents' name without surname. If so, would those be good enough to prove their relationship?
