He he...thanks man, but I don't want to be carried away, it could be nothing.
After I saw some cases getting rejected after getting eligibility recommended pass, I am not going to believe anything until I get the PPR

Are they paying you to be this negative about the Ghost Update... Relax man, everyone got a PPR Mail after the ghost update and especially when you know Ottawa Office is clearing the backlog of Feb month.

Cool it man, its just a GU.
BTW, bags have been packed for a while now. I am completely prepared from my end, sorted temporary accommodation, kinda arranged a part time job while I search for full time ones and even dry cleaned and packed my old winter clothes so that I can survive the first few days, just in case if i am travelling at peak winter

How did you manage the accommodation and the job...

Yeah also interested in how you managed to sort of get a part time job so early? Could do with that.

Nothing yet... both not started.
I am doomed with this wait why can’t they start my application now that almost everyone is off with their PPR..

Hello my lovely people,

Finally some movement on my file so thought to share an update.

I got 2 emails from CIC with msgs in my account.

1. It was to pay Biometrics fees for my spouse and they will then send the letter when she has to do Biometrics
2. Asking for more proof of marriage and filling IMM0008 form.

I have heard from them after 17th March so didnt wanted to take lot of time in replying to 2 above request.

They had given me 15 days to do the needful but I have already submitted the documents visa Case Specific Enquiry although they asked me to do via My CIC account but couldnt find the extra tab to upload the documents.

I hope these requests are a positive sign.

I called CIC to check whether I have passed the background check to which agent replied :

Criminality : Finally Passed on 11th September, 2019
Eligibility: Still in progress
Security : Not started
Visa office : Montreal
AOR : 1st Feb, 2019
Category: CEC Inland

I am assuming that these requests are a positive sign as they will only ask Biometrics of Spouse once they are done my background check but not sure.

Share your thoughts on this experts!

I hope & pray PPR email to come soon.

Tough time - Wife has been hospitalized due to Dengue!

I cant do much then wait for email to come!

I am assuming why would they make me pay Wife’s Biometrics if my background check would take more time.

Just seeing the positive side.

I would appreciate senior members and experts view on the tentative PPR predictions!

I wish PPR for everyone!

I am not being negative, just being cautious, that's all. I was happy to see the GU and hope its "THE ONE". But is there anyway to confirm its the one? its my first ever GU others have got 2-3. I hope I woke up to the good news tomorrow, but until it happens I am keeping my hopes under control. Really don't want to be disappointed. thats all

Yep. It indicates you are on your way to PPR..
