Your own lists are all you need. Two copies of each with an estimated resale value in CAD next to each item and a total for all on the list. You do NOT need to fill out the CBSA form, they will do tgat and usually staple your own list to it.The goods accompanying you and goods to follow list,is that just a list I write down or do I print out a form off the IRCC website, thanks very much for the help by the way.
I wl be going for soft landing to Windsor..1. Passport
2. COPR
3. Proof of funds (if required by immigration stream)
4. Goods Accompanying and Goods to Follow list (if also 'landing as settler' - ie not just a soft landing for PR
That's it.
Yes, you can certainly land 8n Windsor.I wl be going for soft landing to Windsor..
In my COPR,destination city mentioned is Toronto..
I can go to Windsor for soft landing or I hv to go to Toronto only?
Ok..thank you for your replyYes, you can certainly land 8n Windsor.
So no need for GTA / GTF on soft landing, you do those on your later 'land as settler'.
Please yourself. Makes no difference.Ok..thank you for your reply
Can you tell me which one is better for soft landing Windsor tunnel or Ambassador bridge? Also to come back to usa, which one shld I use?
Doesn't matter. I had same thing and I did my soft landing at Windsor. Used tunnel for both entry and exit.I wl be going for soft landing to Windsor..

This question might sound ridiculous but please do answer. Please yourself. Makes no difference.
I dont know for certain, but I suspect that the Tuesday to Thursday hours are for true 'flagpoling' only. You are not flagpoling as such, so you can land anytime there is a CBSA presence, which is 24 hours as this crossing never closes. This question might sound ridiculous but please do answer.
I’m planning to cross the border through ambassador bridge to complete landing formalities on Saturday.
CBSA site says office at ambassador bridge is open 24/7 which contradicts with info in some other posts which says that offices are open only from 8 AM to 5 PM from Tuesday to Thursday. So could you please shed some light here
This is correct - https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage/settle-setablir-eng.htmlI dont know for certain, but I suspect that the Tuesday to Thursday hours are for true 'flagpoling' only. Note that the restrictions only apply to people "residing in Canada". Not to anyone else. You can land anytime.
Welcome to Canada!Thank you all. I completed my landing formalities on sunday afternoon!
