Check your spam also.Hi guys,
I am sponsoring my wife and got the SA a week back. Today I linked my application to the online account and in the Review of Medical results it says -
We haven’t received any email regarding the same, any one have any idea on the same?
- We have requested a medical exam. We will send you a letter or email with details.
Please advise
If you have linked your application to your GCkey, then the med request can be found on the GCkey profileHi guys,

Remember that each application is unique regardless of when they were made. It is better not to strictly compare your application with othersHi!
I'm wondering how I can truck my application process on the spread sheet.
I've just been cheking the applicants whose app recieved the same day as mine..
@Tanyusuf thank you. I have linked it to GCKey profile today and then I saw this message in the GCKey profile under submitted applications —> Check Application status —> Review Medical Results. If you have linked your application to your GCkey, then the med request can be found on the GCkey profile
Hi please I have One more question, what if cic ask me to upload a document via the gc key account and I decide to send the document (hardcopy) by mail to them, is that acceptable ? Cause I’ve seen people complain about the hassle of uploading documents..thanksIf I create one and link my application to it does it mean I won’t be getting email anymore? --> You will get email notification if any change happens in you GcKey account. Keep in mind, for sponsorship, application processed in 2 parts. One for sponsorship approval and other for Principal Applicant's immigration processing. I believe you will not get anything related to sponsorship approval in your GcKey...But, no worries, those will come in your email
Also do I get emails to notify me that there’s a message from cic in my gc key account ? --> Yes
Is it really compulsory to create a gc account ? --> No
Won’t the updates be shown on ecas ? --> Yes. But suppose they want to send you Biometric/medical request (which is coming as document), you will able to see them in GcKey and download them at your own convenience...Or else you will receive mail (HARDCOPY) to your mailing adress...Not sure, whether they will email you?...
