Hi everyone,

I am landing in Vancouver 2 days from now. My query is regarding destination city on Copr(in my case which is Toronto) being different.
I had booked direct flight to Toronto with air canada but they cancelled that flight and provided direct flight to Vancouver with a connecting flight to Toronto. Time duration between both flights is 1.5 hours.

My question is:
1. Where will immigration process take place? Vancouver or Toronto. Since I will have to get off from int flight and change to domestic flight.
2. Can I choose different landing city than the one mentioned in my Copr.

Thanks for reading through guys...if anyone has experience of going through immigration in similar situation, kindly share ...
Looking forward for quick responses

What immigration stream have you used? If it is a federal scheme (rather than a provincial one), then no problem at all landing in Vancouver. In fact you HAVE to declare PR at your first port of entry into Canada. You would not be able to land for PR in Toronto as that would be an internal flight from Vancouver landing at the domestic terminal, so no CBSA presence.
