Hi , i'm from india ! My wife is in canada ! We have contact to immigration today and they sent ! Read below

The application was submitted on June 5, 2019. Medical and Criminality assessment is complete but the Security and Eligibility assessments are still pending.

Can you pls explain briefly, what is security checking and eligiblity assessment from myside ??? And how long they take for this process ?

Eligibility is the review of your relationship and checking to see if it is genuine etc. Security is just that. Checking your security so police checks background check etc. No one can say how long it will take. Expect 12 months total of processing. If it takes less time great!

You likely have over 6 months to wait. Remember there are periods of months where you will not hear anything. If you want to attempt to see your child you have to try and get a TRV. The approval rates are pretty low for spouses of Canadian citizen or PRs. If your wife is a citizen she can visit you in India after the baby is born. If she is a PR she must remain in Canada although a short visit 2-3 weeks maximum seems to be tolerated.

Yes you should update CIC but a baby doesn’t prove that a relationship is genuine. Unfortunately people assume that a baby assures sponsorship.
