Passport sent to ottawa 2019 after ppr

I have a problem!
I send my passport end of August.
It was delivered 3-RD if Sept.
Stamped -9 Sept.
And it is still there.
Should I call to UPS and ask them to pick it up.
Or they do it by them self?
Who had experience?

I am wondering if UPS will pick it up by itself (let’s say couriers come there everyday) or I have to order pick up service?
If you included I think it’s going to be returned to UPS and they will deliver it to you.
Call CIC agent, they can easily confirm this for you again
I called.
They just keep answering “wait”. Although I am extremely above normal processing time and have flight in 2 weeks, they can’t provide any information and can’t send note to that department.
Didn’t you keep the tracking number for the returning envelope ?
You should be able to track it
Are you in Canada? If yes, then you should have sent the Canada Post XPresspost pre-paid envelope together with your passport, so it is Canada Post to delivery back the passport, not UPS. Do you remember what is the PO Box and Postal Code that you had sent the passports to Ottawa?
For example:

- The pre-paid Xpresspost envelope must be from Canada Post. Please note that we will not return documents to a Canadian address via any other courier.
- Submit all documents by mail in a single package and send to the following address:

If you are in canada you suppose to send your package only by canada post this is what they mentioned in the passport request. They also mentioned that they will not return your passport if it is by any other company. So you have to talk to an agent that you send it by ups not canada post they will tell you the process. If they donot help then write email to them.
OMG! It is doesn’t say in instruction “only Canada post”
They provide 2 addresses: for Canada post and for courier.
Last time I sent with Canada post Xpresspost and it was hanging in our city more than a week (I remember I sent on Tuesday and it was delivered on Thursday in a whole week) so this time I decided to use UPS (and they delivered quickly)
I just don’t know should I do extra steps to get it back or cic will do it by them self? I put the second envelope of course and I have tracking number, it is still not scanned.
