I received my AOR on 20th March. Received biometric request on 28th August. Isn't it unusual. I am expecting another 2 to 3 months for things to get moving again.

Dsnt really matter, some ppl have biometric early some later. This is from what i have read and heard here on forum. There is no sequence to the process and pretty random.You can have ppr tmro or in 1-2 mnths, for now we need to stick with our AOR date deadline, mine is 24th march. I am expecting to get PPR sometime in early October. Biometrics were done in May.

My situation is kind of similar to yours. I submitted my application on March 5th. Gave my biometrics on May 2nd. My 6 months completed on September 5th but I have not had any updates from IRCC yet.
I have contacted them via email a few times but received a generic response - saying its under process and they will inform me when there is an update.
