CIC just emailed me a letter requesting additional documents:
"Please respond to this email with written evidence that you intend to live in a province other than Quebec in order for me to make a final decision on your application."

Please any suggestions are appreciated.

Yes, I am in Canada. Working & Living in Montreal QC right now. My employer has another office in Ottawa ON. In my application in the beginning, I attached a letter from HR stating - CONSIDERATION FOR RELOCATION INTO ONTARIO.

Now, 2days ago I got this request for additional document from CIC in MyCICaccount - "Provide proof that you will be complying with the requirement of intending to reside outside of QC"

What do you suggest?

Yes, I am in Canada. Working & Living in Montreal QC right now. My employer has another office in Ottawa ON. In my application in the beginning, I attached a letter from HR stating - CONSIDERATION FOR RELOCATION INTO ONTARIO.

I studied in Ontario in 2014-2015. Then I moved to Quebec and studied in QC till 2016. Starting 2017, I have been working fulltime here.

That is not really proof. You need to show solid proof, like an actual confirmed transfer to Ottawa or a home purchase/rental.

Yes, tomorrow I am going to go talk to HR for transfer confirmation. I only have 7 days to reply so.

They want hard evidence you're going to be living outside of Quebec. You will want to respond and show that you have a job in Ontario and are moving very soon to start that job. Is this something you can arrange with your employer quickly? Ideally you should also show that you have rented / leased a place to live in Ontario so that you prove you are really moving.

Tomorrow I am talking to my HR about this scenario. And Tuesday I am going to work on getting that rental agreement in Ontario. Need to execute all of this in next couple of days. Thank you replying all. Feel free to comment further with your wisdom!

Yes, I got through the process. I submitted letter from my company HR confirming my transfer to Ottawa. Where is your application at?

Hi, I'm in the same situation as you were, for evidence of living outside Quebec. Was transfer letter from your office sufficient or you submitted lease in Ontario as well.

Will it be enough if my employer is qc based but has approved my request for permanent work from home from ontario?

If you've already moved to Ontario and are living there, then yes.
