Hello friends,
First of all congratulations and good luck to the friends who allready have dm and ppr.
I received my one in July and planning to land in 1 week. I have few questions if someone can help me .
We are family of 3 me my husband and 11 years old daughter.
I don't have any family or friends in monteral what is the best option for us we all go together or I go by my self and settle everything and get them later?
About apartments for rent how easily we can get apartment ?
About funds if my husband and daughter come later how much they have to show ?

If you don't have any support network, it is perhaps better to come alone, get settled with a job, place to live at before getting in rest of your family. Between you/your spouse, pick someone who is more likely to be able to find job easily.
That ways you can minimize your expenses until you get a steady cash flow.
Do be wary of any personal conditions though for example copr expiration, school season, weather changes, etc.

Not sure about Montreal but usually apartments are easy to find in City neighborhoods. Check on kijiji/condos.ca. You could start with Airbnb for first weeks to allow visiting places physically once you are there.

They would show same funds that you showed in your app. You/they need not carry funds while traveling, just bring proof of funds (updated banking statements for example). You only need to carry enough funds for first few months
