Workpermit at Canada airport

Hi,

I am already holding valid closed work permit and i got a new employer and they applied a new work permit through GTS. It has been more than 20 days and my application is not approved due to backlog.

At this point, I am in india, tdavellig to canada tomorrow. Is it possible to ask the immigration office at airport to get the staus ans approval of work permit?

Can you please guide me if anyone has this situation?

No you don't quality of you are an Indian citizen. 20 days is only an estimate.
