Greetings,
I apply for a study permit along with owp for my spouse and trv for the two kids and i we are rejected based on the ffg below:

Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit
application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet
the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and
Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of
residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the limited employment prospects in your country of
residence.
You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can
demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be
accompanied by a new processing fee.
Pls can anyone help me with a strong sop so as to reapply and secondly at this point is it possible for me to reapply alone living my family to wait behind now?

Hello All,

My sister has got admission to study in Quebec and is planning to get the study visa (Jan intake). Going by the assumption that her study visa gets approved (obviously, it should as everything else is done), will her spouse be able to travel to Quebec along with her on a Spousal Open Work Permit.

It is a one year course and they are married 3 years ago. My bro-in-law's mother is here and that reason can be used in case to show the VO about the strong ties with India.

It is a 1 year program that my sister is gonna study and after that, she shud be eligible for a 1 year work permit and this can make her spouse to gain 2 year work permit (if I'm not wrong).

So if one of you have some idea, could throw some light on this (I mean, about the requirements of a SOWP). Also, are there chances that my bro-in-law's OWP be rejected as well?

Hello,
I am not an immigration lawyer, but I was in the same situation and discussed it with many expertise and got successful result, I can say that: Since the main applicant is your sister, she should convince the officer about her return ( and not her husband) therefore, she needs to show why she takes this course and what was her plan after graduation (e.g. she might say I select this course in this learning institute because of it is high ranked Uni/College and wanna to return back home to start my own business ... )
If she got the approval, her husband mostly get approved automatically as well because in Canada family ( and to be with family ) is the first priority !
And yes, she able to get 1 year PGWP, but her husband can extend his OWP under some conditions. Check Quebec's immigration for mode details .

Thanks buddy. The reason why I asked specifically is to ensure that my bro in law shall travel along with my sissy provided she gets the student visa approved
Some are saying IRCC may reject and hence I was perplexed
By the way, can my bro in law apply OWP right after my sissy gets SV. Another question is what requirements are need or the docs that are needed to be produced while applying spousal OWP request
If there are any other best practices, do let me know that as well so that we ll ensure that my bro in law's request does not get rejected at all and they travel to gether
Thanks in advance for your kind and timely assistance bruh

You can submit a webform with UIC of your application with full clarification with your corrected form. I hope it works for you.
