For the permanent residence medical exam, what sorts of questions do they ask when assessing your mental health? How thorough is the evaluation of your mental health? If you have a mental disorder, are you expected to bring medical records pertaining to your disorder? In general, what sorts of medical records are you expected to bring?

I am in the conditions to ask the same question, I suffer from.bipolar disorder and im worried if this will be a problem in the future with my visa approval
Mental health is health. If you have a bad knee you report it; same thing with mental health. Don't buy into nonsense stigma.
I will report it of course its just that im worried it may be a problem for my resident visa approval
As long as you have not been hospitalized for periods of time, have not been a threat to anyone else and have been a productive adult you will be fine. Would warn you that the Canadian mental health system is very overwhelmed so getting to see a psychiatrist often involves a waiting list. Psychologists aren’t usually covered by provincial healthcare plans so extended health benefits are important. Medication coverage is something else that is not covered by all provinces so you will have to pay for your medication or try to find a job with extended health benefits. You can bring a 90 day supply of medication with you.
I havent been hospitalised I went through a maniac episode first when my family and I did not know what I was suffering from but immediately I started the cure and with the help of my doctor now its been years that I dont have been on another episode. I take my medication voluntarily and I am in contact with my doctor. In the mean while I've finished my studies and have a pharmacist diploma etc...my medication its not excpensive...I do t know I really hope that my bipolar disorder
Your condition is clearly under a Doctors successful management. Just remember to take your pills and good luck!
Medication costs are usually higher than most places in the world. Not sure where you are moving from but there is a huge surplus of pharmacists and salaries have been decreasing over the past 10 years and jobs are harder to find. You should consider this if you have a good career in your home country.

(( I really hope it will notMy medical cost are really low, I'm from Albania but I buy my medications from greece and its really cheep. I would like to take my options in canada and try to have another point of view for life in general, my profession and health problem shouldn't be an obstacle for me. As for the health I hope it wont be as for my profession I can always have a second one...like a teacher or smth ahahah
FYI - If you move to Canada you won't be able to buy your medication from Greece. You will need to purchase your medication in Canada.
Teaching is incredibly hard to get into in Canada and would require a masters degree. Pointing out that there may be better options closer by. Not sure whether places like Germany require pharmacists but you may be able to get a job more easily there.
