Cousin relationship for Manitoba PNP what can i use as proof

Hello my people,
please i need your advice. i have a cousin in Manitoba (our mothers are from the same mother). they are genuinely siblings but my mum did not have birth certificate or any document to prove that she is related to my aunty. what can i and my cousin use as proof of evidence that we are related.

Hi Funmi,
you may have some photos of you parents together along with you guys. Also, on your parents passport if the parents names are the same, they can be used as a means for showing proof, otherwise, you can still get Class 10th or 12th certificates which mentions yours parents' parents names(grand parents).

For the photos we may have but that of passport i don think my mum has passport. is it possible for her to go and get an affidavit to state the relationship with my aunt?

Family photos and affidavits are not accepted. You need government issued documents proving the relationship. They should get their birth certificates.

You need to get attestation of birth for your mum and cousin mum from NPC, National population commission in Nigeria.

Like cancuk mentioned, it would be best to have a solid document from the government. pictures and everything is just additional documents / proofs. please do not solely depend on photos.

Get NPC done. It's the only acceptable doc if there are no birth certificates.
