Got an email that the application was in progress since Sep9 (yesterday). At least part 1 of stress is over!

Able to find on ECAS. No special updates other than. Paperwork received Aug1, processing since Sep9.

Quick question.

I sent my application through fedex and the record shows that it was received August 2th. However I was able to check the status on Ecas and it says that the application was received August 19th.

Which one is the one I should consider?

While I'm not fully versed in how ECAS works, it sounds like the 2nd August is the date Fedex delivered your application to the office and the 19th August is when someone from the office started looking at it. Have you received your AOR yet?

No we haven’t received anything. On the ECAS it says that the 19th they received my application for permanent residency.

For example, they received my delivery Aug1, and here is what ECAS shows exactly for me:

1. We received your application to sponsor on August 1, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 10, 2019.
3. We started processing your application on September 9, 2019.

Yeah maybe mine shows differently because I’m the PA. My wife ya sponsoring me.

I was able to check the status on ECAS with the UCI from my online application for extension of visitor status.

Oh my I just saw this!! Apologies! I used 09-2018 version so that would be alright! And did not apply for biometric fees as I applied inland.

AOR for August applicants are averaging 36 days since received. I hope they can keep this momentum going! Still waiting for mine. Hopefully AOR comes within a week or two. I really don't want to see those paper in my mailbox

I kept them in their original envelopes from where I got the photos printed (Costco) + I added a post-it note + wrote on the envelope a description of what they were (PR photos + 20 photos)

Then I ordered those in the order the checklist asked.
