PhD, unemployed and then Postdoc in Quebec city

Hello all,

I have an offer to start a Postdoc at Quebec city after I finished my PhD in Germany in April 2019. The thing is I had the offer in April already but I could not apply as I only finished submitting my thesis in September 2019. So I wish to start soon but I am not sure what should I fill for 'current employer records' for the work permit application because I was unemployed from May to September 2019. Should I just add a 'Not applicable' letter?

Also, in the offer letter for the postdoc, the starting date says 'June 2019 (depending on visa)' but since I am only applying now, will that be a problem? Should I get another letter?

hello, did you got your work permit? hom much does it takes you to get an answer for ircc?

i am in the same case, but my problem is different, my contract should start on january 2020 and i submitted my application from morocco from the 13 november 2019.
is it possible that i don't get any answer even in january 2020?
are the post doc eligible for the two weeks processing time period ?

can you please help me answer these questions, i would really appreciate this!
