looks like they only going to pick your application exactly after an year they received it, atleast for kitchener-waterloo region, same for all my friends who submitted applications in 2018.

Yes, that is the case. I am from Waterloo as well. They are very slow or short staff in Kitchener-Waterloo office. I sent my application on Sep. 16, which was received on the 19th. Still awaiting...

Both my wife and I received invitation over e-mail to attend the oath ceremony.

Last change of application status: July 23. Changed to - Decision Made
Invitation Date: 22 August 2019 received over e-mail. No change in application yet.
Oath Ceremony: 10th September,2019 at Surrey (King George Ave.)

Looking forward to vote in this federal election.

Completed Oath process yesterday.
The status on application was updated to "Completed" today.
