TRV for my sister

Posting this on behalf of my wife.

Hi @Bryanna ,@scylla , All experts ,

We are in process of filling online application for my sister who is currently studying in India, below is the case summary:
- Me and my husband has been living in Canada as PR for past 2 years with full time jobs.
- She is currently in her final year and less than 21 years of age , dependent on my mother.
- My mother's visitor visa has already been approved.

Please help us with the below concerns:
- Do we need show her net worth and bank statement or do we need to show my mother's net worth as she is dependent on her?
- We have enough funds to sponsor my sister on TRV, our bank statements should be enough as her proof of funds?
- We are planning to attach a letter from her college, do we need to upload her mark sheets as well?
- We will also show that my mother will stay in India while my sister visits Canada.
- A cover letter and invitation letter mentioning all the above details.

Please let us know if we need to add any more details/documents?

You can show her as dependent on your mom & get your mom's bank statements which would serve as financial support.
- We have enough funds to sponsor my sister on TRV, our bank statements should be enough as her proof of funds?
Your bank statements & NOA would be enough for support.
- We are planning to attach a letter from her college, do we need to upload her mark sheets as well?
That would serve as strong reason to go back to home country. Attach latest mark sheet, no loss in attaching since you have it.
- We will also show that my mother will stay in India while my sister visits Canada.
I personally believe that is not a valid thing to show. Indeed you are showing she is studying & have to return back to continue her studies.
- A cover letter and invitation letter mentioning all the above details.
You can add all details & mention situation, covering all aspects like dependency on your mother, strong ties to home country. And assure that she will return back on completion of the trip.

Please let us know if we need to add any more details/documents?
Create a GIC account online & you will get all the documents to attach.
Try to have a Purpose of Travel prepared well, however keep the travel for 2 weeks or so.
