Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I am from India and I want to know if there are any ways to get a certificate of qualification from outside Canada for the Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program. Thank you.

Which trade are you looking at? Certificates of Qualification apply to trades.

Also, how does Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) work??
It would be of great help to me if you could reply in detail.
When I calculated, my score comes to 73, 67 being the cut off mark.
So, what should I do now??

I am a civil engineer. So, I am planning to go for any trade which comes under 2231, 2131 and 2253 in the NOC list.

None of these occupations fall under the trades. You will have to apply through the Federal Skilled Workers / Express Entry program.

You won't get points for holding a certificate of qualification since your occupation is not a trade.

You need to dedicate significant time reading through this information to understand how to apply:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/immigrate-canada/express-entry/works.html

Getting at least 67 points under the FSW points system is only the first step. You then need to calculate how many CRS points you have to determine your chances of being selected. Right now only those with around 460 points are being chosen.

Thank you Scylla... I read it and I think I understand the procedure almost completely except for one thing...
What is the purpose of this FSW point system if people are short listed on the basis of their CRS Score...??

FSW = minimum criteria
CRS = determines if you are selected
