Hi Members,

I am working at present in BC Canada and going to apply for my BC PNP.
I have some questions and confusions myself considering my educational qualification and Experience.
Below are my list of questions,

NOC code:
I am diploma holder in mechanical engineering by education ( 10 + 3 years of study ).
13+ Years experience in the industry having relatively similar kind of work .

1+ year Canadian experience, this job title refers me as a manufacturing engineering specialist.
As I refer the NOC, I feel my job description suits to Mechanical engineer - 2132 .

> How important for me to relate my JOB description to Educational qualification?

> What the significance if I select the NOC which comes under regulation.

hi Katrick,

You will first need to apply for a ECA report, which will evaluate if your educational credentials are valid or not and whats the Canadian equivalency of your diploma in their eyes. After that the job NOC you can see the job description and details for whom they look out for the above NOC in the government of canada website.
