It turns out I wrote a cover letter, combined it with my AOR, work permit copy into one PDF file and uploaded as a letter of explanation. And yes, I left the "details of intended work in canada" section blank and typed in my full work history for the "employment" section.


So far there's no sign of PPR yet. I noticed a ghost update in my IRCC online account last week. No wording has changed, medical status is still "You don't need a medical exam ...". I highly doubt that really means anything. I've seen people under SS got multiple ghost updates to get their security passed. So maybe they're just doing something of very little importance to my file. Really can't expect too much from them, last time I got ghost update after IP2 I thought it was my application getting approved but in fact it was they sending me to SS :kappa:

Well it could just be that the ghost update is not medical related. But I understand, smart of you to keep expectations in check. When was the last time you called them and asked?

Last time I called them was in last December, since I found out myself in SS I stopped calling them.

That's 9 months ago, might be a good idea to get them on the phone again.

Maybe will give them a phone call next week. Quite likely they are re-verifying my criminality since my old Canadian criminality expired, but I will find out.

My Aor is 29th June 2018. I am stuck in review required since 23 August 2018. not in the same boat but I think security screening will start after I am recommended passed in eligibility required.

Did you get one ..

Most cases i have seen - they ask for pfl adr and then finalize the process .. 80% the candidate gets the pr email ..

it is a procedure they have to follow - especially for situations where they are not satisfied with employment record or bank record ..

I have cleared the remedicals, however under eligibility it still says that 'we are reviewing if you meet the eligibility criteria'. And the background check just began last week, before that it said that it wasnt started.

you passed the eligibility.. thats why you got the remedical request.. you will see this thing we are reveiwing if you meet eligibility until you got the PR. Its same for every applicant.. I think they done all your checks and need remedical to finalize application.. you will get your PR very soon.. I am also waiting for Pr after remedical request. did nt pass it yet..
