CAQ government has emboldened many racists who is spewing out hate online just like Trump's America. Reports of racism are at an all time high in Quebec.

2. CSQ's Simple Simone has cancelled 18,000 applications and now implemented cherry picking system. MIDI has no transparency in how they are selecting immigrants. A news reports say that they are interested in selecting white Europeans only. The system is designed to hand pick immigrants which they see fit based on secret selection criteria which they never make public.

3. Huge delays in getting a CSQ, even if you studied, work, pay taxes and live in Quebec. The illegal border crossers in Roxham border are given work permit and free goodies !

4. CIC processing time increased to 22 months from 21 months now ! , I am now begining to wonder if we will ever get PR in Canada. Almost 2 years for PR in Quebec while skilled workers like us gets PR in rest of Canada within 4 to 6 months.

5. CAQ's Simone is now assigned the francizaton department too and soon he will be cracking down on all employers who employees doesnt know French. He might implements new laws which will make it difficult for you to progress in your career and succeed in your life in Quebec.MIDI has now removed the word "Diversity" from their name. This is huge and it points to their future plans on cherry picking white Europeans rather than a diverse population.

Not sure what the point is to your post. Yes Quebec is prioritizing French speaking immigrants. A large percentage of recent immigrants applying to move to Quebec were not French speakers. There are very little chances of Quebec separating from Canada or even having a referendum. Quebec likes to model itself like a European country and has higher tax rates (can be the same as some other provinces depending on your income level) but has affordable daycare and higher education compared to the rest of Canada. Quebec’s economy has actually been doing very well for the past 5+ years after decades. Many immigrants were able to immigrate through Quebec and didn’t qualify for other programs. New immigrants should reconsider if they are not interested in learning French and having their children go to school in French. As a French speaking province who wants to remain French speaking prioritizing French speakers isn’t a crazy concept. Don’t agree with how the CAQ went about it but many immigrants were also using the Quebec immigration programs to immigrate to Canada so they were also using Quebec as well.

Nobody is forcing anyone to immigrate to Quebec. Also nobody is guaranteed permanent residency until they have landed.

2. Salaries for skilled workers are lesser than other provinces in Canada.

3. Immigrant parents cannot help kids with their homework as its in French.

4. Kids educated in French schools are not fully fluent in English, (French schools makes conscious efforts to give low quality English education, but not viceversa) thus limiting their ability to work in an English speaking country like Rest of Canada or USA.

5. All the good books especially engineering/medical are in English.

6. For high income earning immigrants, I dont think any kind of governmental benefits including childcare are applicable no matter if you are in Quebec or ROC.Government benefits are inversely proportional to your income.

7. Bill 21 targets minorities invoking the not withstanding clause. A government which targets minorities cannot be trusted with. They will soon target minority English speakers and immigrants soon. Its just a matter of time. Bill 101 version 2 is now raising its ugly head again.

8. There is targetted discimination in Quebec based on race and language for employment.

Being fluent in French helps anyone living in Quebec. There are certainly non white immigrant, who are French speakers or not, who don’t feel like they are second class citizens. If someone chooses to move to Quebec they should be planning on trying to learn French. If not, they should have moved to another province. If people want to move to Canada they should also want to learn English. Learning the main language spoken where you live will only benefit the person .

1. Actually highest tax rate for high income earners is in NS ans ON and QC have basically the same tax rate for high income earners which are usually the highly skilled.

2. The cost of living is also less than other places. Again nobody is forcing you to immigrate or work in QC.

3. Yet again these families did not have to immigrate to QC. The French school for children of immigrants is in place in order to ensure that Quebec remains a French speaking province. The fact that children have to attend French school isn't a secret. The parents can learn French or families can send their children to English school if this is a concern.

4. Children in Quebec are much stronger in English and French versus the rest of the country where children are not great in French even if they attend French school. Nobody is purposely providing poor English education. They have a short amount of time to teach a second language. Know many Quebec residents who are perfectly fluent and have worked all over the world in both English and French. Growing up in Quebec has not hurt their career goals.

Of course you will have difficulty getting hired if you don't speak French if that is the language they conduct business in and interact with clients with. In many government jobs you are required to be bilingual. It would be the same as someone going to Germany and saying you are being discriminated against because you only speak English.
