I am from Calgary and submitted my FP request 1 month ago but didn't get test invite yet. I submitted my application in march. Waiting for the invitation.

There's a wait now for the oath letter after decision made as one of the applicants mentioned that the officer told him there is a backlog for the oath ceremony applicants.I have the test next week, let's see what do they tell me.

For anyone who has written the citizen test/interview, I am writing mine on Sept. 26th. I would like to know the length of time the test and interview takes?

You have 30 minutes to write the test. When we did the test in Calgary most people with us finished in less than 10 minutes. Interview was about 10 minutes. Waiting time before the test and interview was about 30 to 45 minutes total.

Received App: March 31
AOR: May 23, 2019
Test Invite: July 31
Test Date: August 29
DM: August 30

Daughter is still in progress though. 1 dependent.

Wrote the test yesterday and Aced it! 20/20

the test isn’t hard but you have to understand and read the book at least twice! Then practice from the websites
Don’t depend completely on the practice tests without reading the book!

We also had our tests yesterday at Calgary both me and my wife got 20/20 on test but the officer said we have to wait for security clearance and that can take from a day to 6 month. Fingers crossed now!

security clearance took 2 months and the visa officer decided after 3 weeks (DM).

the test was done on may,22,2019 clearance was done around aug,18, 2019 i called cic. the visa officer made a decision on sep 03,2019

The interview officer told me the oath ceremony will take a few months becuse they r very backlogged.

ME! We wrote the test same day. Everyone in our group passed. Any updates on your end?
