Hi guys.. I m so sorry to post here on the timelines post .. But I posted a thread and did not get an answer.. I have filled my PRC renewal application and will send it hopefully Tomorrow.. I did not meet the RO for the first five years of landing..but currently I have a total of 820 days inside Canada in the past 5 years.. and been inside Canada without any exit for the past 1 year and 6 months... should I apply for renewal now?
and about the forms Do I need to submit some supporting documents ( bills in my name, tickets ,mortgage , bank accounts ) to prove my intent to stay? since I did not have a job and was self study for license exam. or just stick to the forms?
And If I had trips from my original country while I was there to other countries for tourism while I was overseas ( Like from my original country to Turkey and back to my original country) .. do I need to mention the trips in my application.. ? Thank you a lot for your help guys ... hope to join the timeline this week :)

Dear Leo,
Don't worry, as long as you have more than 730 days in the past 5 years so you are good and safe, in the application just stick to mention only the past 5 years ending with today's date (application submission date),

for the supporting documents many recommends to send proofs especially you don't have a job, personally I didn't submit any supporting documents but as I'm currently working so may be my case is different, I suggest you send some supporting documents and definitely don't forget school documents for the kids.

for the travels for tourism, it has to be mentioned as long as it's in the last 5 years but also remember that if you stayed for more than 6 months in any country , at the time you apply for citizenship you will be asked to submit police clearance from that country as long as it's in the last 4 years.

lastly wish you good luck in your application

Hi jemapena1,

Any update on your status change today? Mine is still in process.
Finally decision made but no more updates. does anybody know how long does it take from when they make a decision to when they mail the card?.

Also has any of you have any updates during the weekend?I am afraid that mine would de delayed due to the long weekend.

Congrats ! You are lucky that agent told you about 'making' card, bcz when I called she was sooooo cold and absolutely not ready to help in anyway, she said upfront whatever is showing in ECAS is the latest status..... that's it ...bye

My application is in process since Aug 19th. So maybe my turn will come next week some time. Fingers Crossed .

I was thinking about sending my latest bank statement , gas bill and a mortgage statement ... for the tourism travel .. my longest trip was for 10 days.. and I did not travel from Canada.. I was back home and travelled from there to Turkey and then back home again.. Canada was not involved at all.. Do I need to mention that? thank you :)

Yes you need to mention it.. if you have boarding passes especially to and from Canada will be the best supporting documents.. if not so what you mentioned is just fine

good luck
