https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5289-sponsor-your-spouse-common-law-partner-conjugal-partner-dependent-child-complete-guide.html

I know it's a lot of reading, but most of your basic questions will be answered in this guide. Also, your checklist will tell you exactly which forms should be filled out by you (the sponsor) and which should be filled out by your husband (also called the applicant or principal applicant).

For your first question, in the event that you are found ineligible to be a sponsor, do you want them to continue to process your husband's application for permanent residence, or would you like to withdraw the application? I have no idea how successful your husband's PR application would be if you're not able to be his sponsor, but it's an option. Whichever you decide, that's how you answer that question.

Language preference is also your choice, just select whichever option you would rather they use for all communications that they send you.

Cosigners are not allowed on spousal applications, I don't know why.

The guide I linked above and your checklist should give you most (if not all) the information you need to complete your application package. Plenty of us on this forum have done it on our own without a lawyer, I'm sure you can too!!

1) it's up to you wether you want to retain your application or not, but if you're confident that your eligible to sponsor better choose to check the box "proceed with the application"
2) choose either of this, if you can speak english or french
3) Who can be a cosigner for spouse sponsorship?
If a sponsor does not have enough income to support themselves and the family members they wish to sponsor, the sponsor's spouse or common-law partner, who must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and at least eighteen years of age, may be a co-signer on the Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking.

Try going into Adobe reader and opening them from the file location (where you downloaded them to on your hard drive). Clicking the link after downloading them typically opens them in your browser instead of in your PDF reader program, which leads to the error.

1. There is no point in proceeding if you aren't eligible. The option to proceed is there for people who think that they have H&C grounds.

2. Your choice.

3. Spousal apps can't have co-signers.

You need to read the guide. It is very clear about what forms you each need to fill out.

I dont know what documents they are asking for (you did not specify a link for us to follow), but whatever they are, you MUST have one of them. If you don't, you have to get one before you can complete and submit your application.
