Can anyone please clarify the following concerns regarding work reference letters:

1. Does the letter have to be adressed to someone/the CIC dept?

2. Does the letter have to be issued within a specified time period before submission? E.g. If i get the letter now (today's date) but my ITA comes after a year, will the letter still be valid...My employer might not be accessible later so I want to get it now.

- no it does not need to be addressed to IRCC. It can be titled as “To whomsoever it may concern”
- that should not be an issue. Make sure you have all the details (role, duties, start/end dates, salary, working hours etc) mentioned in the reference letter

Thanks for the quick response. And can I get two reference letters from two organisations against one NOC?

Ok. And does the job description EXACTLY have to match the ones in NOC?
And the job title can be different?
