Question on Canada Settlement Funds

I am a single applicant. I have to show minimum of $12,669 as POF. But while applying I showed availability of $14,500, more than I am required to. Now, I am regretting this because I need to use some of the money for my personal expenses (it's been a really long wait). It won't be much and I will definitely have at least 12,700 to show later if asked again. My questions are:

1. Is it mandatory to retain the exact amount that I input in my eAPR throughout, until I reach Canada? Or can it be any amount as long as it is at-least the minimum required?
2. Will they check POF again at immigration upon landing and match what I had originally claimed in my eAPR?

Would appreciate answers from personal experience, if any.

It needs to be above the minimum, that's all. They can check at landing (they usually ask, but don't really check), and if it's less than the minimum, they can deny your landing.

What proof do they require upon landing? A bank statement or money in some form?
