I called yesterday and the agent said it had not been sent yet.
So I called today and it had been sent.
I should expect receiving it on Tuesday.

Supposed it could arrive on Monday but it’s a holiday...so Tuesday...GL to us!!!

PPR: August 14th.
Sent passport: August 16th, received on August 20th.
Application approved: August 30th.

I think it’s better to withdraw your extension once you have done landing. For me, I got PPR on 8.20 while my first visitor record expired on 7.26 and I am waiting for my Visitor Record extension (applied on 7.17), aka, I’m currently on implied status. I decide to withdraw it after landing.

Sure~I highly believe that it is doable, since it shows they are processing VR extension applied on the beginning of May on their website. And I will do landing on Tuesday or Wednesday once I get my PP back~

For your landing, are you going to the border to do it? should we plan a day trip or can we just go to US border then back to Canada Border right away?

I read somewhere that we need to plan a day trip, however, some said that a day trip is not allowed, just go directly back to the border, so it is really confusing LOL

If you are residing in Canada and have no international travel plan, you could just go to any broader to do it. When you have no plan to visit US, just tell US broader officer that you would like to do a flagpole. I think they will give you a white ticket or sth like that and then you will turn back to Canadian broader to landing.

I am planning to do it at Thousand Islands (it’s 24x7). Although Niagara is much closer to me, three places at there are just so limited (Tues, Wed & Thur and you could read numerous unpleasant comments on the forum).

Hi guys, got PPR 28 August last Tuesday. Sent passport to the office I did biometrics in Nigeria, the office confused they got it but said a receipt was missing which I mailed to them. That was on 30th. Still not gotten any tracking number after submitting, I'm wondering if i should ask for extension for passport submission as we were given 15days. Please help.

Why not give them a call?let them know you are yet to get the tracking information.

I think it is safe to request an extension then.you could also send VFS a mail to follow up.
