I did my test today at the Scarborough office and passed. They offered me to appear for the oath ceremony tomorrow. So in less than 24 hours I will be a Canadian Citizen

That sucks, but nothing new to me unfortunately. I was in the 'backlog' for CEC when it got replaced with Express entry in 2015. From one backlog to another

i have done my exam on march 25 ., i am still waiting for my oath , i called several time , the only answer is to wait till November 18 .

there is pilot project on , which is working on FIFO method FIRST IN FIRST OUT .. about 50 % of new test people are getting oath invitation after there test and rest from old back log...

so we have to wait , till they catch up ....

I do not have recording calls .. when I talked with Agent .. lol but u will see in post threads where our fellow friends are offered oath ceremony . If they except they are citizens in next 24 hours if they don’t they have to wait for normal letter. I hope this satisfies u ..

Me and my husband just got the email for the oath ceremony on 23rd sept 2019.
Applied from Abbotsford

Applied- 5th November 2018
Applications received- 24th January 2019
Asked for my husband's fingerprints- March 14th and submitted on 16th.

On 22nd July got invitations for the test on 8th of August.
Oath ceremony- on 23rd September 2019.

Today I finally became a Canadian Citizen after trying for almost 15 years. I had my oath ceremony at the Scarborough office. 102 recipients from 31 countries became Canadian Citizens today. Good luck to all in the rest of your journey.

Quick question regarding photos: Have you guys clipped the photos to application or put them in small envelope and staple it with application?
