Hello,
AOR - 3rd April,
date received a ghost mail - 16th May.
Since then I haven't received any updates. neither in my account nor through mail.
Any idea when can I get my visa mail? will it take longer than 6 months?
Remaining days for application processing - 36 days. still no updates.
Can any one give me contact details to contact cic from India.

Same story here..My AOR 21st April ...medical passed..biometrics done..since then no updates...54 days left
Well my prediction came true a week late but you're getting your PPR/Landing Interview this evening . Congrats!
Can it take more time than 6 months from AOR? I have already left job in india expecting PPR to come before september.Also i was expecting to land in canada before winters.
It can but September is already here so I'm guessing you'll get it some time in September.
I will call CIC for the first time tomorrow about my status and I am a bit nervous to talk to a real person like this.

I want to avoid any general response like checking online etc

It’s okay there’s no need to be nervous. They are used to callers asking them status updates. Just ask them what checks have been completed and the VO if you want
