Hi guys,

I received a letter from the Immigration officer stating that he's concerned that I have not acquired the entire mentioned experiece. He has asked to submit any additional information and my paystubs from the period I worked to allay his concerns.
I had explained in my LOE that I don't have paystubs and hence I'm submitting my T4's. So, what can I do with regrads to this. Please help me. Thank you.

This is the letter

Dear ABC,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. I am writing you this letter to express my serious concerns regarding your application.

Having reviewed the application as a whole, and upon review I have concerns that you have not acquired Canadian Work Experience as stated in your Express Entry profile:

2016-03 to 2017-04 - Supervisor (NOC: 6311) - at XYZ

2017-08 to 2018-08 - Supervisor (NOC: 6311) - at XYZ

I am not satisfied that you worked the entire Canadian work experience declared as a Supervisor. Please submit the following:

- I am asking you to submit any additional information/documentation that would allay my concerns.

- All paystubs from January 2014 – August 2018 – they must include dates worked, hours worked, title and source deductions.

Client information field available to upload response to concern letter and any additional documents that you would like to submit to help allay my concerns.

You have 7 days from the date of this letter to submit the additional information using your MyCIC account.

If you choose not to respond with additional information, or if your submission does not allay these concerns, your application may be refused.

Are you able to show bank statements that include salary deposits from your employer to your account during those periods? These should technically give the same impression as paystubs because they cover the period you worked.

Yes, I have the bank statements. Also, I explained my issue to my manager and asked if they save soft copies of the paystubs. Unfortunately, they do not. So, she said she'd have to order from the company that issues it and that'd take more than 7 days. Should I mention in this in my response?

Explain to your manager how urgent the matter is and that your future in Canada relies on getting these paystubs before the weekend. Be nice and tell her she would be doing you a huge favour. Lots of companies rely on third-party payroll agencies. It shouldn't take more than 7 days to get your pay stubs. Someone has to download them from the payroll system, usually in the financial department. My paystubs were always soft copies by the way, so if that saves you time, then go for it.

You need to provide as much proof as you can to support your case. By showing salary deposits together with paystubs that you will hopefully get, I think you should be ok!

Thank you so much for your response. I'll talk to my manager about it.

Also, if you look at the letter the officer is asking me to submit the paystubs from January 2014. Although I'm claiming points from March 2016 to April 2017 and from August 2017 to August 2018. Could this be a mistake from the officer?

Double check the dates in your application and see if you made a mistake. If not, then explain to the officer again and mention the correct dates. Maybe it's a mistake on his side.

I triple checked my application. I'm claiming points only from the above mentioned dates. Even the letter from the officer has it.
Do I still need to respond with the documents or should I rectify this issue first?
