Number of dependents is not a factor. I know a lot who got PPR in 3-4 mos who are family of 4 as well. I also know someone who is single and is an IT programmer by profession but still waiting for PPR for more than 6 mos as well. It all boils down to luck!!! This has been a long discussion in this thread if you have started from page 1..

There are a lot from Sept-Nov AORs who are waiting for an officer to just pick up the file. My file has not been touched since January.

We all just hope and pray that we all get the PPR soonest!

When is your AOR btw?

Just to correct you number of dependants is a factor. And for the family who got PPR within 3-4 months, was that an express entry or pnp application?
I don’t see how fast an application can be that fast even for CEC stream

Hmm first time hearing application with dependants as fast as that. Though I am PNP - Paper applicant.

It's a bit depressing that there are a lot of backlogs that are just sitting and waiting to be picked up. As I said, I think it's all in one's luck.. Sad for us waiting for 9 mos now..

Have you ever tried ordering a gcms note?
I heard that it also triggers the officer in charge as they have to revisit such file in order to give the latest status of such application/file

Yes. Most of us here did. You can follow @SithLord's journey by reading his posts as an example.. Most of us are almost at wits end thinking what could be taking them so long. We did all that we could do - call IRCC, order GCMS, order CBSA, raise CSE webform, email MP etc.

Medical & RPRF request: August 16, 2019
Pre-arrival letter: August 17, 2019
Medical submitted: August 20, 2019
RPRF paid: August 24, 2019

Can anyone update when can I get PPR after RPRF & Prearrival letter?
