Hello,

I graduated as a civil engineer in Jan 2009. I have been working since Mar 2009 continuously as a civil engineer (2311) and Construction Manager (0711) under different job titles. The occupation ive entered in my EE, however, is Civil Engineer (2311)

I already knew which jobs/ companies would be willing to provide me with an experience letter which is why i only provided those jobs in my EE profile. These were as follows:

(Syntax: Duration - Position Entere in EE - Company Name)

1- Aug 2009 to July 2013 - Civil Engineer - ABC (I made a mistake here, explained below)

Went to UK for further studies (Sep 2013 to Nov 2014)

2- Dec 2014 to Feb 2016 - Construction Project Engineer - ABC (same company as #1)

3- Mar 2016 - till date - Project Manager - XYZ Company (Not writing the name because my current employer is an *******)

The issue is that my job at #1 above actually started in Jul 2010 (appointed in Apr 2010 as trainee and confirmed as permanent in Jul 2010) to July 2013.

2nd second is that job at #2 actually conforms to 0711 rather than 2311. If i provide the actual documentation my CRS score does not change, but the information that i had provided earlier does. Will a Letter of Explanation Suffice here or should i reject my ITA?

Please advise as i only have 10 days left.

Regards and Thanks in Advance.

P.S. the job titles are different as well from the ones i provided in Express Entry, but they are all related to Civil Engineering practice.

You can make necessary changes in the eAPR and put the correct dates, titles etc, make sure that it does not effect your score (i understand you received an ITA). Dont have reject the ITA

Hi Faraz! I was wondering if you could help me out with the following:

I'm also a civil engineer (NOC 2131), but my duties are only 50% equivalent to the duties provided by the NOC 2131 CIVIL ENGINEER.

On the other hand, my duties are 88% equivalent to the ones provided by the NOC 0711 CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS.

I have only 1 year and a couple months of experience, therefore I'm not comfortable in applying under the CONSTRUCTION MANAGER NOC, because management jobs should require more experience.

Do you think I can claim NOC CIVIL ENGINEER with only 50% equivalency?

Thank you.
