Hello guys,

One question: In the Study and Languages section, do we need to inform about all our education credentials (secondary and post-secondary) or only the ones we chose to get points i.e. MSc degree with ECA reports?

Please help.
Only graduation post graduation and PhD ECA report needed

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding my education and work experience.

2014-2019 working in UAE
2016-2018 I have done the MBA from india(not the distance education, regular degree)

For the exams and practicals i was visiting india and successfully completed the mba in 2018 , during the same time period as you can see the time line I was working too in UAE full time.
I already applied for the Wes ECA MBA PG report.

Questions
1- Is this possible in my case to get points of my MBA and same time I can include the work experience.
2- how’s point awarded in EE profile based on experience. ?
3 years of experience vs 5 years of experience, does it impact my EE profile as well PNP entries

What could be the best advise in my case to get the MBA pg points and work experience points too.

Guys please guide me to a suitable solution

Dear experts, I have 323 under crs system against my job code 4031(secondary school teacher). I knew that with this score ITA will never come but apart from the federal PR do I stand any chance to receive invitation from any province under PNP or any other way forward or pathway if you could suggest based on my circumstances?

Can you explain how you can be studying and working full time both at the same time and in two different countries. Maybe you traveled often but I still don't understand how your study and work can concur.

That's too big a gap to fill, sorry
Do check Canadian government site for various immigration paths.

Goodday all.
For my accompanying spouse, do I have to include letter of reference from all her previous employers as part of her work history, as I listed them under her section or I should only list her current employer?

Canada Express Entry is a tool by which Canadian government filters out the skilled immigrants and offers them PR in the country. Following are the ways through we can apply:-

1) Firstly, you need to clear the language test like IELTS .

2) Secondly, if it's necessary, the you need to get the credentials of their education assessed.

3) Thirdly, you should check out your NOC i.e. your occupation, in which you have experience in. This would be under skill type O, A or B.

4) Fourthly, you can check your score by the free tool for Express Entry by putting in your details.

5) Fifthly, if satisfied by the score in the previous step, you should create the express entry profile.

6) Sixthly, you can register for job bank.

7) Last but not the least, keep you profile updated. Updated profile is always preferred in the express entry database.

Hope this is helpful for you and helps to proceed further in the process. All the best!!

Hi, appreciate this brief but clear steps process but could you help me throw more light on item (7). "Last but not the least, keep you profile updated. Updated profile is always preferred in the express entry database". How do one keep profile updated?

Cheers , hoping to here from you.

I have a question regarding express entry .
I have done 12th (high school graduation) from india and i have earned a diploma from a Canadian college, then what should i fill up in what is your level of education ?

Enter the highest level of education for which you:

  • earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate or
  • had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you did your study outside Canada. (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years)

I submitted my EE profile a few days back, my score is 408 & NOC will be 2173 (Software Engg), any chance I can get any PNP nominations? If not, please suggest alternatives. Your help will be appreciated.

Hi

By last step I mean that, there are some instances wherein some changes occur in the profile of the concerned person (whose express entry profile is created) after the creation of express entry profile. If there is any such instance, you need to specify these updations in your express entry profile.

Hope this is clear.

You have to approach both the universities independently and follow the respective university process, ask universities to send WES directly in a signed & sealed university envelope

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
Hi,

Please advise urgently.

I received ITA on 12th August and about to file my application. I am Indian resident in Dubai. I had arranged for Dubai Police clearance certificate and Indian Police Clearance certificate (before my short vacation to India as I did not want to delay my application) which is dated 26th July 2019. I visited India for vacation on 10th August, 2019 returned 22nd August. I am about to file my application and our agent is insisting that we need to produce new PCC from Dubai and India because we have travelled to India after the PCC were issued and the same remains Invalid. They are saying this can lead to rejection of application. My both PCC are clear with no criminal records. Please advise if there is really a need to get new PCC?
