Availing 50 points for regional immigration for Manitoba

Dear All,

I have applied for provincial nominee program for Manitoba and have 540 points in all. 3rd draw that came out on 25th June 2015 was at 581 points. My close relative who is in Winnipeg is ready to give me all the support required for migrating.

My question is that the points are not coming down as expected and not sure when it will reach 540. Can you please suggest the possibility of availing 50 points of regional immigration if my relative is staying in Winnipeg and not in any other region of Manitoba.

The 50 points can be acquired if your close relative sponsor lives outside Winnipeg.That is the only way I know based on what I've read. :

I believe LSR will keep going down. Because people who scoring low they will get chance too... But I wonder difference between 2nd & 3rd draw was just 7 only..... OH GOD let this fall to 400 points quickly.

I recently rejected due to selecting the regional Manitoba as my supporter resides in Winnipeg.

And basically because your score went below the draw threshold. You didn't demonstrate a social tie to the city either.
