That is crazy, did they have a lot of time left for their 12 months?

Aside from having to get all the docs redone I think they are lucky to be sending to CPM-M and not back to Mexico. Lets hope for your friend this means they will resolve the case faster, they have a pretty awesome turn around time.

Good that they now processing in Mississauga. However not acceptable that they lost it!

He was already nearly 14 months into the process - it took Mexico a full 3 months to admit the application was lost. Luckily he was able to resubmit everything as photocopies with the exception of the police certificate, which takes at least a month to obtain where he lives- hopefully they will continue to process in Mississauga and not resend to Mexico ....

I’m a July 30, 2018 applicant. My application was transferred from Sydney to Mexico on May 17. I sent an email on July 2 to Mexico requesting for a update, and their response was it’s still “in-transit”.

How long does it normally take for Mexico to retrieve the application for processing? Did it take this long for most of you?

My year is up and it’s pass two months(soon 3 months) since nothing from Mexico.

There’s no way to find out except to ask again. It shouldn’t take a courier service more than a few days to get a package to Mexico.

Thanks, it has been a very stressful process many files are way over their 12 month mark. Some get ppr in a day to a week but others go much longer. Prayers for anyone going through this ordeal.
