I talked to CIC earlier. They said mines going to eventually be transferred to London VO... They also said that sometimes applications are kept in Canada to do most of the work on them, then transfer to London for a very quick finalization process...?
is there truth to this or were they just getting my hopes up?

They have kind of put their saying in a doubtful zone lol so now we don't know who to believe.

I think true... maybe not the fastest finalization. But my case spent in Sydney 8 months, and after transfer( July 4) on August 12 received pre arrival and pcc request. I believe they take time to do most work in Sydney and background check or whatever will be finished in London... just conclusions I came to:)

But again why it takes 8 months for some and others its cleared as in PR in 3,4... should be the same level of bgc for everyone.

Depends on a country and how deep background Check is. I think ...

Quick hypothetical question, once the applicant gets CoPR and lands, can they get a SIN number and start work before the actual PR card arrives?

Yes. SIN is often issued right at the landing point at airports. COPR is literally "confirmation of permanent residence", there's nothing to add here :) a PR card is required for travels, to be able to return to Canada.

Yes, you can apply for a SIN with COPR. You'll be issued a sin number on the spot. SIN card will arrive in few weeks but all you need to work is your SIN number.

Hi! Our eligibility in GCKEY is still “under review” just wondering if that only changes once PR is received?

We did get Sponsor approval in the early stages of our application - not sure if that’s eligibility or not.

Thanks for your help!

We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

That is ours. Same as before.
What month you are in from estimated completion time?

Have you link your paper application to an online account? If NO kindly link it online in order to see the details for biometric.
Here is the link to access an online account

I hope am able to provide solution to your question.
Thank you.

Hello
Am very much confused here about Quebec immigration spousal sponsorship outland application
Does it means that my wife have to meet a financial requirements for her to sponsored me here from Africa like a specific amount of money in here bank account? If yes how much or did I have to show out that I have specific amount of money in my bank account this is stressing us out.
I have seen it somewhere else were it say sponsored living in Quebec did not need to show financial evaluation or proof of employment . we have seen it also in Quebec Kit totally amount for a family unite some specific Am out of money like 1 person 23k plus for been sponsored so what is what I don't no we are all desperate here now any guidance please?

Quebec MAY ask for a financial examination if they are not sure the sponsor can handle the fact to have someone at charge and helping. (Regularly having late payments, bad credit score)

The calculation is based on the number of applicants if they are adults / childs.

The threshold is at 41 355$ CAD / year if the sponsor can prove to have a job that is stable around it or over... it won't be an issue at all.

Bank account assets doesn't count really. Is more the incomes that are regular. (Usually a letter from the employer stating the job, salary and condition as in permanent job fulltime)

But to conclude , for Spousal only without dependent , most likely they don't ask this financial eval)

Trousse A

if there's kids that are also sponsored, now is different.

As per reference for wife and husband sponsor without kid :

https://www.immigration-quebec.gouv...s-particulieres/normes-financieres/calcul.php

Or in english

https://www.immigration-quebec.gouv...uirements/financial-standards/calculation.php

So basically they can ask to the sponsor that it prove having incomes of 41 000 > based on the 12 previous months AND that your job is still valid and continue.
