I think there is another legacy pile growing up of 2017 and 2018 claimants.

2018 applicants are still in somewhat normal time frame 2017 are the true legacy files.

What is the NOVA system all about

Just a computer algorithm making it easy for the task force to schedule claimants. It's why some are scheduled before others. Unfair, but efficient. I highly doubt there will be legacy claims for mid 2018 and upward claimants.

Hi guys today i recieved my notice to appear.
I applied on 5th jan, got my notice to appear for 13th december .

Pretty well publicized that many are waiting 2 years to get a hearing. By the time you arrived in Canada there would have lots of articles about how overwhelmed the system is and how delays will continue to get worse.
